The Malta Women’s National Team is set for an away test on 14th April before home match at the Centenary Stadium four days later.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Manuela Tesse has named her squad ahead of Malta\u2019s upcoming UEFA Women\u2019s European Qualifiers League B double header against Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Malta Women\u2019s National Team will face Northern Ireland away on 14th April before hosting the return fixture at the Centenary Stadium in Ta\u2019 Qali, on 18th April, with both matches kicking off at 19:00hrs CET. These fixtures form part of Malta\u2019s ongoing European Qualifying campaign with the team continuing to compete in League B following their recent promotion through the UEFA Women\u2019s Nations League.<\/p>\n

Under the guidance of Tesse, Malta approach this double header with the aim of delivering disciplined and competitive performances across both matches. The national team will also be striving to show further improvement after opening their second campaign at this level with difficult tests against Turkiye and Switzerland, the other two nations in Group B2.<\/p>\n

Northern Ireland presents a demanding opponent with Malta expected to rely on organisation, compactness and efficiency in both phases of play.<\/p>\n

Both matches will be live on TVMSport+.<\/p>\n

Squad Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tesse\u2019s squad maintains a strong core of players who have featured regularly in recent international windows, ensuring continuity within the group.<\/p>\n

The selection also reflects the continued integration of emerging talents with the national team setup remaining aligned with Malta\u2019s youth development pathway. Crista Chetcuti Ganado, who plays for Leicester City, has earned her first call up at senior level.<\/p>\n

Several foreign-based players are once again included, bringing valuable experience from competitive leagues abroad, alongside domestic-based players who continue to perform consistently at club level.<\/p>\n
