This call is being made after two new judges, both of whom were serving as magistrates, were selected in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>This increase builds on the various appointments made to the judiciary in this legislature and which have led to our country continuing to have the largest number of judges and magistrates in history.<\/p>\n<p>Minister for Justice and Construction Sector Reform Jonathan Attard stressed that this increase in the judiciary is clear proof of how much the Government is consistently investing in the justice sector.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This call for new magistrates will continue to strengthen the Judiciary and complement the legislative work with greater specialization in the Courts of our country.
