This programme not only strengthens physical activity in schools, but also helps children develop in a balanced way, build confidence and learn to love movement from an early age. Together with the Malta School Games, we are building a clear path from participation to excellence, and above all, we are building a healthier and more active generation.”

The Head of School, Victoria Spiteri, expressed her satisfaction with this initiative and stressed the importance of physical activity remaining an integral part of children’s educational experience, while pointing out that programmes such as “Ready, Set, Play!” continue to strengthen the work that is already being done daily at the school in favour of the physical, social and emotional development of students.

This initiative forms part of a national vision that places the well-being of children at the heart of educational policy, while continuing to promote a balance between academic learning and an active and healthy lifestyle.

<g transform="translate(0,332) scale(0.1,-0.1)" fill="" stroke="none"></g>

The Minister for Education, Sports, Youth, Research and Innovation, Clifton Grima visited Maria Reġina College, Father Felic Sammut Primary School, St Paul’s Bay, where he officially launched the “Ready, Set, Play!” programme, an initiative that aims to continue to strengthen physical activity among children from an early age.
