Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti, together with the CEO of A\u0121enzija \u017bg\u0127ag\u0127a, Miriam Teuma, presented certificates to the first group of young people who successfully completed the Life Hack pilot programme. During the ceremony, it was announced that as part of the Government’s vision and through a concrete measure in Budget 2026, this program will expand significantly from three to six middle schools for the 2026\/2027 scholastic year.<\/p>\n
Through this expansion, the Life Hack program will reach six middle schools across Malta and Gozo, where students in Year 7 and Year 8 will have the opportunity to benefit from practical courses such as Connected Minds<\/em> , MoneyWise<\/em> , Creative Spark<\/em> , and Take Action Through Photos<\/em> . These courses are designed to equip young people with essential skills in digital well-being, financial management, and the creativity needed to find new solutions.<\/p>\n The certificates presented today are accredited as Level 3 Awards by the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE). This ensures that the non-formal learning acquired by these youths is given official value and forms an integral part of their educational profile.<\/p>\n Parliamentary Secretary Keith Azzopardi Tanti stated that, “The success of these young people is the success of a nation that believes in the potential of the next generation. Through Life Hack, we are seeing how learning goes beyond the four walls of the classroom so that our children gain social and digital skills, amongst other skills, that will serve them throughout their lives. This Government will continue to stand by you, investing in initiatives that open doors to innovation and personal research”.<\/p>\n CEO of A\u0121enzija \u017bg\u0127ag\u0127a, Miriam Teuma, emphasized that the program is the result of the dedicated work of professional youth workers who deliver high-quality non-formal learning. She stressed that this initiative aligns perfectly with the national policy for youth and education, noting that the positive feedback from students and parents is clear evidence that this investment is bearing fruit.<\/p>\n Through this initiative, A\u0121enzija \u017bg\u0127ag\u0127a continues to strengthen the educational journey of young people by offering them practical tools for the future. This expansion for the 2026\/2027 year confirms the Government’s commitment to continue investing in the holistic growth and development of Maltese and Gozitan youth.<\/p>\n
