Prime Minister Robert Abela visited De La Salle Senior School this morning, where he met with students and educators in an activity that focused on their education and career aspirations.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Abela was welcomed by the Head of De La Salle Senior School, Mr. Norbert Zahra, and participated in a discussion with the students, with the participation of some of the parents of the same students. Through the discussion, those present had the opportunity to get to know the Prime Minister better, asking him about his personal experiences. Other topics that arose during this discussion touched on inspiration, careers, and the importance of work-life balance. In the discussions with the students, the Prime Minister mentioned the importance of education and appealed to the students to continue to pursue their ambitions with dedication.<\/p>\n

The Government is continuing to strengthen the journey towards digital education for all through various measures that promote access, innovation and modern learning. Among them is the grant of \u20ac500 to families with students in Years 10 and 11 to purchase digital tools for modern learning. Around 7,500 parents and their children are benefiting from this measure. At the same time, the Government is giving around 20,000 digital devices to students in Years 4, 7, 8 and 9. These measures and others are aligned with the Malta 2050 Vision, which looks towards modern, inclusive and innovative education, to prepare young people for quality careers and a competitive future.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister also visited the Careers Fair being held in the school’s Gym, with the participation of 210 participants and 79 companies. This fair is providing an important opportunity for students to meet professionals from various sectors and explore different opportunities for their future.<\/p>\n
