\n(LHW) 2025 Remarkable Experiences Award, securing one of the most competitive and

Announced at the LHW Membership Awards Gala in Bangkok on 22 November, as part
\nof the 2025 Annual Convention, the award places the hotel among the very best in
\ninternational luxury hospitality. This year\u2019s Remarkable Experiences Award from LHW
\n\u2013 the world\u2019s largest collection of independent luxury hotels, with more than 425
\nmembers in over 80 countries \u2013 celebrates hotels that invite guests to explore their
\ndestination in ways that feel original, thoughtful and rooted in local heritage.<\/p>\n
Selected from a shortlist that also included renowned properties in Singapore, Florence,
\nMarbella and Honolulu, The Phoenicia Malta was recognised for its commitment to
\ncrafting meaningful guest experiences shaped by authenticity, cultural insight and a
\ndeep sense of place.<\/p>\n
The Phoenicia Malta is Malta\u2019s first five-star hotel, which opened its doors in 1947 at the
\ngate of Valletta \u2013 recently named the best city in the world in Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller\u2019s

Securing the win, the hotel\u2019s submission highlighted the reimagining of Phoenicia Spa &
\nWellness around a 16th-century fortification wall uncovered during construction, with
\nplans swiftly changed to embrace the unique archaeological find as the centrepiece of
