Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects Silvio Schembri attended the official opening of Gentoo Media in Malta, a clear sign of confidence in our country and the opportunities it offers.<\/p>\n

Gentoo Media operates in the field of digital affiliation and marketing strategies for the digital sector and has chosen Malta as the location for its headquarters. Globally, the company already employs 360 people across Serbia, Denmark, Spain, and the United Kingdom, 70 of whom are based in Malta with the majority being Maltese. The decision to establish Malta as a main hub is a strong testament to the country\u2019s international reputation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a Government, we are proud to share the same values as companies like Gentoo Media, supporting the opportunities being created for many young Maltese and Gozitans.\u00a0 Companies that bring innovation strengthen our digital economy and contribute to a nation that is growing sustainably, becoming stronger, more resilient, and more innovative,\u201d\u00a0said Minister Silvio Schembri.<\/p>\n

The Government remains fully committed to the potential of this industry and continues to encourage the development of sustainable, high-value sectors, where quality always comes before quantity.<\/p>\n

Gentoo Media\u2019s CEO, Jonas Warrer, stated that \u201cMalta has played a central role in our journey, and these new headquarters mark a new chapter built on growth, trust, and long-term commitment. We are proud to be growing in Malta and to continue building from a place that shares our same mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minister Schembri was accompanied by Gaming Malta CEO, Ivan Filetti, who remarked that, \u201cGentoo Media\u2019s new home at The Quad is more than just an office, it is a statement of confidence in Malta, and a reflection of the innovation and ambition driving our digital sector.\u00a0 At Gaming Malta, we believe that companies like Gentoo choose our country because Malta is not just a hub or a centre, it\u2019s a home.\u00a0 A home of excellence in the digital sector, built on collaboration, trust, and a shared vision for the future of this industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
