Initially introduced in 15 countries in 2024 and<br \/>\nunveiled worldwide for the first time this October, the accolade honours hotels<br \/>\ndemonstrating character, warm hospitality and outstanding service. Only the properties<br \/>\nthat deliver truly exceptional stays make the cut from the MICHELIN Guide\u2019s 7,000-<br \/>\nstrong hotel selection worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Hot on its heels came the 2025 World Travel Awards victory for Malta\u2019s grand dame of<br \/>\nhospitality, which followed a year-long global vote by travel professionals and<br \/>\nconsumers that recognised The Phoenicia Malta as the continent\u2019s finest landmark<br \/>\nproperty. The hotel accepted its trophy at a red-carpet ceremony in Sardinia on 22<br \/>\nOctober, joining other celebrated historic properties from across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1993, World Travel Awards is globally acknowledged as the ultimate<br \/>\nbenchmark for excellence across the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.
