During a visit to three small and medium-sized enterprises in the Ta\u2019 Qali handicraft village, where he spoke to several owners and workers, Prime Minister Robert Abela outlined the work of this Government which continues to support businesses and provide job guarantees.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects Silvio Schembri and the CEO of INDIS Malta Jean Pierre Attard, praised the commitment and vision of these business owners who, with determination and creativity, managed to grow even in challenging times such as the pandemic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Can You Escape Malta, Julianne Marie Kreattiva Designs and Gemelli Ltd are all beneficiaries of Malta Enterprise schemes and INDIS Malta incentives.<\/span><\/span> These companies are an example of how Maltese small and medium enterprises are translating into job creation and sustainable economic prosperity.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The first company, Can You Escape Malta, founded by two university students, evolved from a small project into a tourist attraction and today operates five themed escape rooms and employs several workers.<\/span><\/span> This company has become a model of how creativity and immersive experience can be translated into a sustainable and successful business.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second company, Julianne Marie Kreattiva Designs, represents the work of a local artist who is combining Maltese culture and identity with modern designs.<\/span><\/span> Through original collections of shawls, bags and artistic dresses, Julianne is promoting art that connects the past with the present.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The last company on this visit, Gemelli Ltd, founded in 1991, is one of the most well-known names in the sector in which it operates and in the promotion of Maltese art.<\/span><\/span> This company combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to create high-quality products and supports local artists through the Gemelli Art Gallery.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Robert Abela explained how these enterprises demonstrate the potential of Maltese talent when given the necessary support.<\/span><\/span> The Government will continue to strengthen an incentive policy that encourages innovation, creativity and the creation of quality jobs.\u201d<\/span><\/span> He added that these stories are concrete proof that the Government\u2019s policy is leading to real success.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we support businesses and small enterprises, we are guaranteeing a future and an opportunity.<\/span><\/span> The Government remains committed to ensuring that every start-up, every family business and every SME in Malta and Gozo has all the support necessary to continue to grow and be competitive.\u201d<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
