Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri has officially announced the seventh edition of the Xlendi Sunset Festival, which will be held on Saturday 9 August 2025, from 8:30pm onwards, in Xlendi.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Minister Camilleri stated that, \u201cThis festival has established itself as one of the most popular and anticipated events on the summer calendar in Gozo. It brings together families, young people and tourists for a unique night full of culture, live music and entertainment in a picturesque setting. As a Ministry, for another year we are supporting this festival through financial assistance as part of our commitment to continue to strengthen and seek more opportunities for families and young people in Gozo.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s festival will feature performances by popular local artists, including Rebecca and the Passengers, Gianluca Bezzina, DJ Ryan Spiteri and DJ MyKill.<\/span><\/span> The event is being jointly organised by Munxar Falcons FC and the Munxar Pawlini Youth Section (SZPM), two organisations that actively contribute to the Munxar community and that, year after year, continue to strengthen the social and cultural life of the locality.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Also present was Munxar Mayor Damien Spiteri who encouraged the public to attend this activity while praising the involvement of the locality\u2019s voluntary organisations and the financial support of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Local Council.<\/span><\/span> Admission is free and there will be a free park and ride service, so that the festival is as accessible and comfortable as possible for the entire public.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by encouraging everyone to attend this festival which is aimed at the whole family and will be held in an environment that will surely make the experience of everyone who attends a memorable one.<\/span><\/span> He thanked the organizers, artists and all the volunteers who are contributing to making this festival continue to grow and be a success for another year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
