Protect. Enjoy booking system.<\/p>\n<p>This key initiative is part of a broader strategy to increase environmental sustainability of all operations at the Blue Lagoon, protecting its delicate Natura 2000 ecosystems as well as improving visitor experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Book. Protect. Enjoy system was launched on 1st May and immediately delivered encouraging results. On the first day, a public holiday, over 4,800 visitors successfully presented their booking QR-codes and were issued access wrist bands at the area\u2019s three entry points. There was no impact on ferry operations.<\/p>\n<p>In view of the court\u2019s decision, Team Blue Lagoon will temporarily put the Book. Protect. Enjoy system on hold until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>The ministries, public authorities and entities forming Team Blue Lagoon remain steadfast in their shared determination to ensure sustainable, safe and well-managed operations at the Blue Lagoon.
