Following the incident which occurred earlier today in Triq Sir Joseph Carbone, St Julian’s, where police officers responding to a report of an arson came under gunfire, two men have been arrested in connection with the case.
During the incident, two police officers were injured. One officer was certified as suffering from slight injuries, while the second officer remains in a critical condition after sustaining gunshot injuries to the face and neck.
