Universal Air has been hit by global outage affecting multiple airlines.
The company has issued a statement to assist passengers.
“We are currently experiencing system issues due to a global outage affecting multiple airlines. Our teams are working closely with our system partners to restore full service as quickly as possible. We will share a further update at noon on Thursday 10th April.
This temporary disruption is affecting the ability to make and manage bookings on our website, app, and through our customer service team. It is also impacting check-in procedures at our airports.
If you are travelling on Thursday 10th or Friday 11th April:
- Already checked in online?
Please proceed to the check-in desks at the airport before heading to security.
- Not yet checked in, or have baggage to check in?
Please visit our check-in desks with proof of your booking (either printed or digital).
Our airport teams are supporting manual check-in for all flights.
- Allow extra time
We recommend arriving at the airport a little earlier than usual, as our teams work to support all customers through manual processes.
Please note: online check-in is currently unavailable.”
