A 45-year-old man was arrested after weeks of investigations in relation to drugs trafficking.
Police arrested the man from a residence in Żejtun and during a search in the residence a number of heroin sachets were found together with a number of mobile phones, knives and shotgun shells. A substantial amount of cash were also found.
He appeared in court where he pleaded not guilty and was held under preventative arrest.
