At Castille, Prime Minister Robert Abela welcomed Miriana Conte, Malta’s representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Basel, Switzerland, in May.
The Prime Minister congratulated Miriana Conte, who spoke about her experience at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. Also in the presence of Minister for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government Owen Bonnici, Conte explained how she is looking at her participation in Eurovision. She said that her song must send a message for different people to be themselves and not let others lead them.
Prime Minister Abela wished Miriana Conte every success. Together with Miriana Conte were the Chairperson of the Public Broadcasting Services Anna Bonett and the Head of the Maltese Delegation to Eurovision Gordon Bonello.
