Two arrested in separate police drugs operations

Police anti-drug efforts lead to the arrest of two men in separate operations at the Airport and Mgarr.
In the first operation, a man was arrested during routine inspections at Malta International Airport after he was found in possession of 8 kgs of substance allegedly cannabis. The drugs were found in seven packets which were hidden in a suitcase.
In another operation, the police were investigating a packet containing a substance suspected to be cocaine which arrived by post and was addressed to a man in Mgarr. The police raided the mans residence where he was arrested after it was found that illegal substances including GHB and other synthetic drugs were being manufactured on site.
