The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri has launched a programme full of activities related to Valentine’s Day in Gozo which will be spread between 1 and 16 February 2025. In fact, the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the ministry is making preparations to offer a unique experience for another year to all those who wish to celebrate the feast of lovers on the island of Gozo.
Minister Clint Camilleri stated that with the Valentine’s Day celebrations, the vibrant cultural calendar in Gozo begins to come to life again. This significant event in our country has established itself as one of the main attractions that pave the way for a year of unforgettable cultural experiences on the island of Gozo. He explained that the aim of this programme is to create a unique atmosphere where Gozo is a centre of culture and hospitality. Inġobok – Valentine’s in Gozo is above all another annual occasion for Gozo to continue to stand out in an innovative way.
“Our commitment to making Gozo the premier Mediterranean destination is evident not only in the creativity of the events we host, but also in our dedication to fostering a vibrant cultural scene. This investment is crucial to our aspirations to see Gozo recognised as the European Capital of Culture for 2031, a goal that reflects the unique identity and dynamic heritage of our island,” stated Minister Clint Camilleri.
This year’s Valentine’s Day programme in Gozo will include both traditions and new attractions designed to delight all visitors to the island. As always, Valentine’s Day in Gozo will culminate with a spectacular concert in the heart of Victoria at Independence Square.
