Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Chris Bonett has announced the launch of the first phase of the ‘Vjal Kulhadd’ scheme.
Through this initiative launched by Infrastructure Malta, several towns and cities in our country will see their roads and open spaces transformed into safer and more accessible areas, with more trees and greenery, while further encouraging the use of bicycles.
Minister Bonett said that the first phase of this initiative will see an area the size of approximately 20 football pitches, with an investment of 10 million euros. Areas that will be regenerated so that Maltese roads are given life again, and there will be more activity from residents and even children like in previous years.
