The Maltese Catholic Action in Żurrieq (ŻAK) has benefited from funds from the NGO Co-Financing Fund, which is administered by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS).
These funds have helped to ensure that a property they own in Żurrieq, which suffered some damage, has undergone extensive infrastructural maintenance and renovation to make it safe and welcoming again for the work being carried out by this organisation, so that more young people have the opportunity to take part in group meetings and activities that contribute to their holistic development.
During a visit, the Minister for Inclusion and Volunteering Julia Farrugia together with the CEO of MCVS Mauro Pace Parascandolo, saw the work carried out at this Centre. The NGO Co-Financing Fund assists voluntary organisations in the co-financing of projects financed by European Funds.
Applications for this year’s scheme will open on the website vofunding.org.mt from Wednesday 29 January 2025 at noon.
