Thousands of Palestinians are returning to their homes in northern Gaza after Israel agreed to their return following talks with Hamas who said they would release another group of hostages next Thursday.
Concern grew over the weekend after US President Donald Trump suggested that Egypt and Jordon should take all Palestinians from Gaza. This he is reported to have said would allow Gaza to be cleared completely.
Human Rights groups have decried his comments saying the plan would be a violation of the Geneva Convention.
