During the weekend police officers together with the Detention Services Agency conducted coordinated inspections in the areas of Qormi and Marsa.
In this operation, 20 people were found living in the country irregularly.
In another operation in St Julian’s and Paceville 25 other people were arrested after they were found illegally living or working in the country.
They were taken to a detention centre to await the completion of their deportation process.
