Antoinette Vassallo will be re-occupying the position of Commissioner for Children, this being her second term.
This decision was confirmed by the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, within the Ministry for Social Policy and Children’s Rights, which approved this nomination.
Over the past three years, Antoinette Vassallo has continued to promote and strengthen the promotion and protection of children. Her mandate has been shaped by her closeness to children and their direct participation in political decisions that directly affect them.
The main priority of the Commissioner for Children, Antoinette Vassallo, remains that of safeguarding their rights and social protection.
