The furnishings for the 29 Puttinu Cares apartments in London will be constructed by inmates of the Kordin Correctional Facility. The residents of the Kordin Correctional Facility are joining the many Maltese who have contributed to making this a reality. These flats provide refuge for patients and their families in their time of greatest need.

Byron Camilleri, the Minister of the Interior, Security, and Work, described this initiative as a marriage of two of the most exquisite objectives during a press conference. the necessity of providing wens to individuals experiencing hardship and the rehabilitation of those who have failed society but are now resolved to contribute.
