A group of 25 active serviceman and woman in Imtarfa Military cemetery from the Directorate of Personnel, who are the British Army’s team responsible for all matters involving people.
This responsibility spans from learning, development, housing, medical care, discipline, legal, and workforce planning to name a few.
The main reason of their visit to Malta is to conduct a battlefield study of Malta to examine personnel challenges in conflicts today, through the prism of Malta’s sieges. During their visit to Imtarfa Military cemetery, they were told about the history of the cemetery by one of our volunteers followed by a discussion.
The group also held a memorial service followed by a wreath – laying ceremony which took place on the Cross of sacrifice.
