Mosta recovered from back-to-back defeats to Birkirkara and Floriana as they defeated Hibernians 1-0 in a match from the 360Sports Malta Premier Opening Round at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues move seventh on nine points, two behind Gzira Untied and one ahead of Balzan. Hibernians, on the other hand, suffer their second defeat to stay on the 14-points mark.
Mosta scored the all-important goal after just ten minutes when Souleymane Kone diagonal shot from the left was not held by goalkeeper Pablo Sanchez and Joshua Agyemang hit home from close range.
