The Creative Europe MEDIA programme is excited to announce the reopening of its calls for
applications for 2025, inviting creators, producers, and organizations involved in the
audiovisual industry across Europe to submit their innovative projects.
This funding initiative aims to support the development, distribution, and promotion of European audiovisual works, fostering creativity and collaboration across borders.
With a renewed commitment to enhancing Europe’s vibrant and diverse cultural landscape, the Creative Europe MEDIA programme offers crucial financial assistance to empower
audiovisual companies to bring their unique stories to life on screens across the continent and beyond.
This year, applicants can look forward to a variety of exciting funding opportunities tailored to the development and production of audiovisual projects, including fiction, creative
documentaries, and animation, as well as support the development of narrative video games and cutting-edge immersive experiences. There will also be funds dedicated to the purely business aspect of the audiovisual industry, including the Innovative Tools and Business Models call and the Skills and Talents Development call, along with calls dedicated to nurturing audiences such as the Audience Development and Film Education call, as well as calls supporting European Festivals.
With such a variety of calls, Creative Europe seeks to nurture and support the ecosystem of the whole industry.
What do all these calls have in common? The crux of these funds is to enhance and strengthen cross-border cooperation with the European audiovisual industries.
