A late Teddy Teuma penalty gave Malta deserved 1-0 win over League D,Group 2 leaders Moldova.
The win lifts Malta into second place in the group, level on points with Moldova.
Teuma could have doubled the score, again from the penalty spot but his added time effort flew over the bar.
Neverless, a sweet win at home for Malta under new coach Davide Mazzotta.
