Country music legend Kris Kristofferson has died aged 88.
He won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 1972 with Help Me Make It Through the Night.
Further Grammy wins arrived in 1974 and 1976, following two duets with Rita Coolidge.
Kristofferson also won a Golden Globe for his role as John Norman Howard alongside Barbara Stresiland in the 1976 film A star is born.
Many of his songs were best known as performed by others, including Ray Price’s US number one hit For the Good Times and Janis Joplin’s 1971 single Me And Bobby McGee.
Kris Kristofferson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
