Salvatore Schillaci has died aged 59.
Known affectionately as Toto, he sealed his status as an Italian legend with his six goals that helped Italy reach the semi-finals of World Cup 1990.
He played for Juventus from 1989 until 1992 and then joined Inter Milan where he remained until 1994. Both clubs paid tribute to the man Italy and the footballing world knew simply as “Toto”.
