102 families benefit from a regeneration project in Fgura

The Minister for Social and Affordable Accommodation Roderick Galdes inaugurated a regeneration project that took place within the field of social housing in Fgura.

This regeneration project was carried out with an investment of around €820,000 and consisted, among others, in beautifying the facades of the social housing blocks, beautifying the common areas and renovating the roofs.

The regeneration work was carried out on 17 blocks in the area of ​​social housing in Fgura, from which 102 families benefited. Minister Galdes explained how the Government is investing in these regeneration projects in the heart of our communities, in order to ensure that residents and beneficiaries of social housing enjoy a clean and quality environment high

“This investment is not only seeing that the assets of the Government are preserved in the best possible way, so that more beneficiaries continue to enjoy them, but it is also raising the quality of life of all those who live in these sides,” asserted the Minister.

Minister Galdes stated that the Housing Authority is carrying out regeneration work in the areas of social housing in various localities in our country “in order to ensure that we hit a substantial number of families who thanks to this regeneration today they can also enjoy a renovated environment, which not only gives a new look, but also makes a difference in the daily life of our residents.”
