On Wednesday evening, in the Girgenti Palace, the third edition of the concert ‘A Night at the Palace’ was successfully staged, with the participation of the National Philharmonic Orchestra. This year’s edition of the concert was dedicated to the memory of Jake Vella and during the concert donations were collected in aid of animal sanctuaries where a lot of work is done in favor of animals every day. of volunteers.
The Prime Minister Robert Abela and Dr. Lydia Abela, together with their daughter Giorgia Mae had the opportunity to meet many families who attended this wonderful evening.
Dr Lydia Abela announced a new initiative ‘Solar for the Shelter’, where with the help of Bajada New Energy, animal sanctuaries will be given free solar panels.
She explained that this initiative will be easing some of the financial burden of these sanctuaries. Dr. Abela ended by thanking all those who attended this concert with a noble goal.
