A 28-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in connection with drug trafficking in St Julian’s.
While the Police were on patrol, they noticed a man acting suspiciously, searching in the grass near a parking area. Soon after he was seen collecting something and hiding it under his shirt.
From a search carried out on the man, 38 packets of drugs suspected to be cocaine were found. Some packets of drugs suspected to be cannabis were also found in the grass.
The man is going to be charged in the coming days. Police investigations into this case are ongoing.
