To mark the 60th anniversary of Malta’s Independence, a special concert will be performed by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra that will be free to the public and broadcast on national television.
The concert will be held at the Valletta Mediterranean Conference Centre to allow all Maltese families to attend the free-entry concert.
The Minister for National Heritage Owen Bonnici said that it is important that these events not only look to the past but also help current generations appreciate and understand the value of national unity and identity.
