The Ministry for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects has announced that the Board of Malta Enterprise has appointed George Gregory as the new CEO of Malta Enterprise. Mr. Gregory will start occupying this position with effect from Monday 9 September 2024.
In addition, a process was immediately started for Gregory to end all his involvement with RSM Malta. Minister Silvio Schembri thanked Kurt Farrugia for the valuable work he carried out during his time as Chief Executive of Malta Enterprise and wished him every success in his new position within Transport Malta. rge Gregory, who is currently the Managing Partner of RSM Malta, has more than 30 years of professional experience. Apart from RSM he also served in a partner role with other firms including top tier firms. During his career, he has led numerous high-profile engagements, including acquisitions, restructuring, and strategic advisory roles, both from a commercial and taxation perspective. Mr Gregory is a graduate accountant with ACCA qualifications from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
The Ministry for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects looks forward to the valuable contribution of Mr. Gregory in the management of Malta Enterprise and in the economic development of the country. “This is a very important time for Malta Enterprise where, as a country, we must continue to implement more strongly our strategy to attract to our country that high value activity that does not require many workers and/or land from which to operate.
