In the wake of power cuts hitting various parts of Malta and Gozo this past week, the Opposition Nationalist Party has lashed out at the government, blaming a lack of investment in providing energy.

Bernard Grech said the country deserves a new and honest Government which will plan and invest in the provision of energy.

In comments on social media, he said the country deserves a government that will invest in and guarantee energy supplies.
