In Tripoli, Prime Minister Robert Abela met with the President of the Libyan Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi.
Prime Minister Abela noted the important role played by the Council in favor of a stronger Libya. He said that Malta continues to support the process in favor of more stability in Libya, which also helps the Mediterranean region.
Both sides also talked about the strong relations between the two countries and how they can continue to be strengthened with more cooperation in areas such as trade, energy and maritime.
