Steve Ellul appointed Chief Executive of Infrastructure Malta

Steve Ellul has just been appointed as the CEO of Infrastructure Malta with immediate effect following the resignation of Ivan Falzon.

Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works Chris Bonett thanked Ivan Falzon for the work he carried out during his time as Head of the Entity while he congratulated Steve Ellul for his new role.​​

Steve Ellul is a Financial Analyst and Lecturer at the University of Malta. For many years he held key positions at the Bank of Valletta where he was responsible for the management of Maltese and foreign investments including in the United States, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

In recent years he has been a consultant in the field of enterprise and sustainable development where he has advanced the concept of ESG in Malta. A step through which many Maltese businesses today are investing in the environment and in their social and corporate strengthening.

Ellul was in charge of establishing Project Green and was the first Chief Executive of this agency where he launched strong environmental projects in San Ġwann and Bormla, as well as launching the Community Greening Grant which is seeing investment in 16 localities around Malta and Gozo.

In total, under the leadership of SteveEllul, Project Green regenerated 40,000 square meters of open spaces including the Family Park in Birżebbuġa, an extension of parks in Żabbar, Mosta and Marsaksala as also gardens in Qrendi, Gudja, Safi and Kalkara.
