Greater potential for a prestigious university with a campus in Gozo

During the graduation ceremony of 35 people in Medicine and Surgery from the Gozo campus of Queen Mary University of London, Prime Minister Robert Abela said that the investment in the health sector, particularly in Gozo, it should increase the potential of this renowned university with a campus in our country.

The Prime Minister pointed to the masterplan for the General Hospital of Gozo and said that in it there is a plan to build an anatomy center and a new center for research, that not only these investments help for a quality health service in Gozo but also so that this university continues to give students a healthy experience.

In the ceremony held in the Cittadella, the Prime Minister Robert Abela not only attended the graduation of the students but in an address he made, he referred to the Queen Mary University of London as a beautiful example of excellence in education that has campus in the heart of Gozo. Prime Minister Robert Abela said that the history of this university in Gozo is one of success which was also welcomed by the social partners in Gozo and the Gozitan community. Dr. Abela ended by wishing the new graduates and said that their success should reflect in more good for the community.

In the campus of this university in Gozo there are 23 Maltese working, including academics and 280 students from 52 nations attend.
