A 31-year-old Italian lost her life when a quadbike on which she was a passenger that fell off a cliff. The incident happened on Saturday at around eight in the evening in Triq il-Mielaħ, l’Gharb, Gozo.
An Italian male, who was driving the bike, managed to jump off the machine before it fell into the sea.
Medical teams, AFM crew and Civil Protection members were called to the scene and recovered the woman’s body from the sea.
