In a ceremony held at the Police Headquarters, Floriana, 34 constables were promoted to the rank of Sergeants. The ceremony was chaired by the Minister for the Interior, Security, Reforms and Equality, Dr. Byron Camilleri and the Police Commissioner, Mr. Angelo Gafà.
In his message to the new Sergeants, Minister Byron Camilleri said that the rank of sergeant is one of the most important that brings with it new responsibilities, including leadership.
Police Commissioner, Angelo Gafà, said today’s appointment is an important step in the career of these new sergeants.
