The driver and passenger were injured when the car crashed into a field some storey below the road level.
According to police the driver lost control.
The accident happened in Triq ta L-Infetti, l’Mdina shortly after 8pm on Friday night.
They were both taken to Mater Dei Hospital where the passenger was reported to have suffered serious injuries.
