Around midday today police were informed that a robbery had taken place at a gamingshop in Triq il-Qroll, in St Paul’s Bay.
Officers went to the shop where they learnt that a masked man, carrying a knife, had entered the shop and demanded money.
The thief then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The cashier, a 21-year-old woman, was not injured in the robbery.
Police are continuing to search for the theif.
