A revised post-Brexit deal between the UK and EU on Northern Ireland is expected to be announced today.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are expected to meet today to seal the new agreement.
The deal signed by former prime minister Boris Johnson led to the DUP refusing to return to the devolved parliament, effectively shutting down the country. Sunak will need the DUP to approve his new deal otherwise. He is also facing a revolt from his own back-benchers who do not want any concessions made to EU.
