Jurgen Degabriele was named the BOV Player of the Month for November. The 26 year old striker, has shown consistency and a high level of play over the last seasons, having now won this award a total of 5 times.
Degabriele was a protagonist in Malta’s 2-2 draw in their friendly against Greece. Trailing 1-0, Degabriele controlled a vertical pass from Matthew Guillamier, and kept his cool to fire the ball past Greece goalkeeper Alexandros Paschalakis with the game eventually ending in a 2-2 draw
Earlier in the month, Degabriele’s contributions to his club were essential where he provided the assist to Yunusa Muritala’s opener in their 2-1 win over Pieta and also started the action that led to Kurt Shaw equalising and saving the point in their match against Birkirkara that ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
Geoffrey Ghigo, Head, Retail Network at Bank of Valletta presented Jurgen with his BOV Player of the Month trophy for November 2022. The player chose id-Dar tal-Providenza to benefit from BOV’s donation associated with this award.
