Prime Minister Robert Abela told a packed Fossos that Malta will go to the polls on 26th March. The first General Election under his leadership.
The Prime Minister was speaking to supporters in Floriana and told them, “The time has come to turn to you as Prime Minister, and seek your trust for my first mandate.”
Now is the time, he said, for the people to decide whether to continue to move forward or go backwards.
Prime Minister Abela told supporters that he placed the national interest first when deciding when to call the general election.
