The Minister for the Elderly and Active Aging Michael Farrugia announced that in the coming weeks the demolition of the Msida nursing home is expected to begin, which will be rebuilt and enlarged to accommodate a number. older people.

With an investment of around € 13.5 million, the new house will be built on six floors. It is planned that the house will be able to accommodate its first residents towards the end of the year 2025.
