Nationalist Party MEP Roberta Metsola, First Vice-President of the European Parliament, opened the European Parliament debate on the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia as members of her EEP party attacked Malta.
“We may be an island 25 by 15 kilometres but we have never been small. Do not judge my country by the actions of those criminals posing as politicians. Malta is not them. Malta is better than them. We must have justice.”
