Works in Dingli halted by Moviment Graffiti

The activist group Movimenti Graffiti have blocked workmen from carrying out work in a street in Dingli claiming that the contractor is run by the family of Keith Schembri.

Activists have stopped a small mechanical digger from moving through the street.

Infrastructure Malta said that plans for the change to the narrow street, Sqaq il-Museum,  had been approved by Dingli Council and that rubble walls would be built and trees planted.

Improved access for residents in the area had been approved in the Local Plans of 2006.
