A driver apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into five parked cars in Cospicua.
A 16-year-old youth who was a passenger in the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
Civil Protection crews were called to the scene.
The driver escaped with minor injuries.
The accident happened in St Paul’s Street at around 11.30pm on Friday night.
