Liverpool lose 1-0 at home to Burnley

LIverpool’s last home loss was 68 games ago, against Palace in April 2017.

On Thursday night, they lost 1-0 against Burnley, a late penalty ending their unbeaten home record.

Last season Liverpool simply romped away to win their first Premier title in 30 years.

This time around the wheels seem to have to come off the Red wagon.

Liverpool have failed to score in their last four games and last night that failure cost them dearly.

Shaqiri went close, his shot coming off the crossbar, Origi, clean through with only the keeper to beat, struck the bar and Salah, on as a substitute, almost put his side in front but a superb save by Nick Pope denied the Egyptian international.

Jurgen Klopp has to somehow find his mo-jo again and in double-quick time. Liverpool face arch rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
